The company Gaba Oriental's was incorporated in 1995 with an aim to support the village labor of Pakistan by giving them a platform to show their weaving skills to the world and earn their livelihood. The company has its roots in the historical city of Lahore Pakistan. The company focuses to manufacture, export & retail hand made carpets and rugs from Pakistan.,

Our manufacturing handlooms are scattered in the homes in the rural areas in the suburbs of Faisalabad city where most of the Pakistani section rugs are woven. The designers draw new designs at our office and they are given to the manufacturing staff. The raw material like wool, cotton thread and silk threads are provided after dyeing to each loom for workers to weave. After completion, rugs are brought to Lahore office by the monitoring staff. The other processes like chemical washing, clipping, edging, fringes, finishing are done. Yet more labor is involved to bring carpet to its final shape as seen.

Gaba Orientals has its regular importer customers in Dubai, Saudia, Europe & USA. The company also operates few retail outlets in Lahore as shown in the display section. The major three outlets are situated in the top ranked plazas in the city. The variety and collection displayed at these outlets are top class, selected & unmatched to parallel competitors in quality & price.

The CEO, Mr. Saleem Gaba along with his 2 sons has built a professional team of skilled labor and officials to cater all kinds of carpets made in the looms of Pakistan. He has gathered the experience working at the looms for over 16 years and he fully understands fresh carpet trends.

Rugs at Gaba Oriental's are not ordinary in make and presentation. The selection is very tight and each carpet is pre inspected to ensure the warp & weft count and quality of wool & silk. CEO himself checks the purchases and monitors the subsequent finishing processes .The rugs brought by Afghani sellers are also taken into account by the quality checker staff and best are chosen. This way it forms a bridge of quality between the weavers and importers.

Gaba Orientals has now also added a new unit of Bed linen & home decor for its valued customers. Its been shown in the section "New at Gaba" in the main page. Again the focus is quality at economical price. Bedcovers, Duvet sets, Bed sheets, Embroidered Bed sheets, Khaddar (cotton weave) bed sheets, Bathrobes, Kid bedspreads, Disney bed sheets, tea cozy, tray mats, apron sets and much more to be seen . New products are to be added in coming few weeks.
